Photoelectron spectromicroscopy at chalcopyrite films

open access: yesUltramicroscopy, 2012
CuInSe₂ films were prepared by MBE on GaAs (111) substrates. ZnSe and ZnO are subsequently deposited in situ by MOMBE. Interface parameters like band offsets and morphology are studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Low energy electron diffraction (LEED).

Sodium Induced Beneficial Effects in Wide Bandgap Cu(In,Ga)S2 Solar Cell With 15.7% Efficiency

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, Volume 34, Issue 4, Page 439-452, April 2026.
Wide bandgap Cu(In,Ga)S2 absorbers grown on soda‐lime glass (SLG) were optimized by introducing additional sodium (Na) via in situ NaF co‐evaporation. Optimal Na incorporation enhanced crystallinity, minimized Ga fluctuations across the depth, suppressed bulk defects, and reduced non‐radiative losses.

Six Ca‐Mg‐Fe Carbonate Reference Materials for In Situ Measurement of Oxygen and Carbon Isotope Ratios

open access: yesGeostandards and Geoanalytical Research, Volume 50, Issue 1, Page 155-179, March 2026.
Key Points Six new Ca‐Mg‐Fe carbonate reference materials are available to the global geochemical community for calibrating oxygen and carbon isotope ratios by SIMS. Significant compositional matrix effects were observed in the dolomite‐ankerite and magnesite‐siderite series during SIMS analysis. Compositional matrix effects correlate with Fe variation.

CO-BEARING MINERALS IN ORES FROM THE MEDNORUDYANSKOE MALACHITE DEPOSIT (CENTRAL URALS) [PDF]

open access: yesМинералогия, 2016
Cobaltite, Co-bearing pyrite, chalcopyrite and wad in ores from the Mednorudyanskoe deposit are characterized. Reserves of cobalt (about 3 000 t) were mainly concentrated in the Co-bearing hypogene minerals: pyrite and chalcopyrite with syngenetic ...

Disorder Scattering Induced Large Room Temperature Nonlinear Anomalous Hall Effect in a Semiconductor CdGeAs2

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 7, 2 February 2026.
Bulk CdGeAs2, a well‐known nonlinear optical semiconductor, exhibits an exceptionally large room‐temperature nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE), achieving a record‐high nonlinear Hall responsivity of 2.2 × 10−3 m/V. This pronounced NLHE enables broadband frequency mixing up to the megahertz regime, establishing CdGeAs2 as a promising platform for next ...

Numerical Analysis of AgInSe2‐Based Thin‐Film Solar Cells Towards High Efficiency

open access: yesNano Select, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
In this work, SCAPS‐1D is used to numerically explore AgInSe2‐based thin‐film solar cells. Using CuS, WSe2, and AlSb as back surface field (BSF) layers with a CdS window improves carrier separation and built‐in potential. AgInSe2's promise for high‐performance, stable, and environmentally friendly solar applications is demonstrated by the optimised CdS/
