Quickest Change Detection Under a Nuisance Change [PDF]

open access: yes2018 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2018
We consider the problem of quickest change detection (QCD) for a signal which may undergo both a nuisance and a critical change. Our goal is to detect the critical change without raising a false alarm over the nuisance change. An optimal sequential change detection procedure is proposed for the Bayesian formulation of our QCD problem.

Effects of Cancer Treatment on Somatosensory and Nociceptive Processing in Children and Adolescents: A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy remains a major complication in pediatric cancer, with disrupted somatosensory and nociceptive processing being a key aspect. This review synthesizes empirical studies on alterations in somatosensory and nociceptive processing in children and adolescents with cancer.

Carcinomas and Carcinoid Tumors of the Lungs and Bronchi in Children and Adolescents: The EXPeRT Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary lung carcinomas and bronchial carcinoid tumors (BC) are very rare malignancies in childhood. While typical BC and mucoepidermoid carcinomas are mostly low‐grade, localized tumors with a more favorable prognosis than in adults, necessitating avoidance of overtreatment, adenocarcinomas of the lung are often diagnosed at advanced disease ...

Change detection, risk assessment and mass balance of mobile dune fields near Dunhuang Oasis with optical imagery and global terrain datasets

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth, 2020
Quantifying the kinematic evolution patterns of dune migration plays a major role in resisting the sand-dust disasters and evaluating the desertification process. With the increment of optical observations, measuring the dune migration with dense spatial

Dynamics of forest disturbance in central part of the Šumava mountains between 1985 and 2007 based on Landsat TM/ETM satellite data

open access: yesActa Universitatis Carolinae Geographica, 2021
During the last more than twenty years, various types of forest disturbance (i.e. insect outbreak, clearcutting) occurred in the central part of the Šumava Mountains.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Spatiotemporal analysis of precipitation variability in an endorheic basin of Turkey with coordinated regional climate downscaling experiment data

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
Understanding how temporal precipitation variability will behave in the future is crucial. Change point detection and sub-trend analysis were done on monthly total precipitation data acquired from the Coordinated Regional Climate Downscaling Experiment ...

Efficacy and Tolerability of Topotecan/Cyclophosphamide/Dinutuximab in Relapsed and Refractory High‐Risk Neuroblastoma: A Multi‐Institutional Retrospective Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Chemoimmunotherapy with irinotecan, temozolomide, and dinutuximab (I/T/DIN) has emerged as first‐line therapy for relapsed/refractory (r/r) high‐risk neuroblastoma (HRNB) in North America. Topotecan and cyclophosphamide (T/C) are often used in combination with dinutuximab in the setting of lack of response, progression, or incomplete ...

Clinical Course and Impact of Breaks in Therapy for Children With Relapsed/Refractory Solid Tumors

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pediatric relapsed or refractory (R/R) solid tumors carry a dismal prognosis, and postrelapse patient experiences are not well described. We present postrelapse outcomes, including number of R/R events and subsequent therapy regimens.

Siamese InternImage for Change Detection

open access: yesRemote Sensing
For some time, CNN was the de facto state-of-the-art method in remote sensing image change detection. Although transformer-based models have surpassed CNN-based models due to their larger receptive fields, CNNs still retain their value for their ...
