Fréchet change-point detection [PDF]
We propose a method to infer the presence and location of change-points in the distribution of a sequence of independent data taking values in a general metric space, where change-points are viewed as locations at which the distribution of the data sequence changes abruptly in terms of either its Fréchet mean or Fréchet variance or both.

3D URBAN CHANGE DETECTION WITH POINT CLOUD SIAMESE NETWORKS [PDF]
As the majority of the earth population is living in urban environments, cities are continuously evolving and efficient monitoring tools are needed to retrieve and classify their evolution.

Change Point Detection Using Penalized Multidegree Splines
We consider a function estimation method with change point detection using truncated power spline basis and elastic-net-type L1-norm penalty. The L1-norm penalty controls the jump detection and smoothness depending on the value of the parameter. In terms

RESEARCH ON SELF-CROSS-TRANSFORMER MODEL OF POINT CLOUD CHANGE DETECTION [PDF]
With the vigorous development of the urban construction industry, engineering deformation or changes often occur during the construction process. To combat this phenomenon, it is necessary to detect changes in order to detect construction loopholes in ...

Change Point Detection with Conceptors
Offline change point detection retrospectively locates change points in a time series. Many nonparametric methods that target i.i.d. mean and variance changes fail in the presence of nonlinear temporal dependence, and model based methods require a known, rigid structure.

Optimal change point detection and localization in sparse dynamic networks [PDF]
We study the problem of change point localization in dynamic networks models. We assume that we observe a sequence of independent adjacency matrices of the same size, each corresponding to a realization of an unknown inhomogeneous Bernoulli model.

Online change-point detection with kernels
Change-points in time series data are usually defined as the time instants at which changes in their properties occur. Detecting change-points is critical in a number of applications as diverse as detecting credit card and insurance frauds, or intrusions into networks. Recently the authors introduced an online kernel-based change-point detection method

Latent Stochastic Differential Equations for Change Point Detection
Automated analysis of complex systems based on multiple readouts remains a challenge. Change point detection algorithms are aimed to locating abrupt changes in the time series behaviour of a process.

Object-based 3D building change detection using point-level change indicators
With the rapid expansion of urban areas in both horizontal and vertical directions, the complicated building structural changes challenge the existing 3D change detection methods.

Network representations of attractors for change point detection
A common approach to monitoring the status of physical and biological systems is through the regular measurement of various system parameters. Changes in a system’s underlying dynamics manifest as changes in the behaviour of the observed time series. For
