Integrating Image Segmentation and Deep Learning to Improve Radio Frequency Propagation Models
ABSTRACT This paper proposes a multi‐sensor approach to improve radio frequency (RF) propagation models, which play a key role in the rapidly expanding field of connected vehicle technology. Focusing on the 1‐ to 20‐GHz frequency range, which is critical for both satellite‐to‐vehicle and base station‐to‐vehicle communications, our study introduces a ...

Geometric Characterization of LEO–GEO Inter‐Satellite Links for Bidirectional Communications
ABSTRACT Incorporating geosynchronous Earth orbit (GEO) and low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites can extend communication services far beyond the reach of terrestrial infrastructure. A key enabler of such architectures is the establishment of inter‐satellite links (ISLs) between LEOs and GEOs to support bidirectional communications.

SMTC Configuration and Window Adjustment Strategies for Beam Hopping in NR‐NTN
ABSTRACT Beam hopping is an effective transmission strategy for nonterrestrial networks (NTNs), enabling satellites to allocate limited power and spectrum resources across different geographical regions over time. However, in NR‐based NTN systems, beam hopping complicates synchronization monitoring because synchronization signal block (SSB) arrivals ...

Learned Codes for Broadcast Channels with Feedback
We focus on designing error-correcting codes for the symmetric Gaussian broadcast channel with feedback. Feedback not only expands the capacity region of the broadcast channel but also enhances transmission reliability. In this work, we study the construction of learned finite blocklength codes for broadcast channels with feedback.

ABSTRACT This study examines how home‐ and host‐country institutions jointly shape the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on firms' climate action commitments (CAC) in emerging markets. Drawing on New Institutional Economics and Varieties of Capitalism, we conceptualize FDI as a mechanism of institutional transmission through which multinational
