Metrology Model of Measuring Channel in Multi-Channel Data-Measurement System

2020 International Conference on Engineering Management of Communication and Technology (EMCTECH), 2020
Developing metrology solutions is of major importance when building data-measurement systems. One of the key issues is evaluating the characteristics of measuring channels built on the basis of digital sensors of physical values. These sensors include a primary analog transducer and an analog-digital converter.

Channeling measurements methodology

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section B: Beam Interactions with Materials and Atoms, 1993
Abstract A complete set of methods for channeling measurements is presented. It is based on a full discussion of transformations between laboratory and crystal frames of reference. Specific methods include crystal orientation and goniometer calibration procedure, beam-goniometer misalignment analysis, beam alignment along an arbitrary ...

Parallel Channel Sounder for MIMO Channel Measurements

IEEE Wireless Communications, 2018
In order to address the challenges in MIMO channel measurement and modeling for 5G communication scenarios, a CDM-based parallel channel sounder is developed and evaluated in this article. Compared to traditional TDM-based channel sounders, our parallel channel sounder supports eight-by-eight (8 x 8) MIMO communications, 200 MHz RF bandwidth, 5 ns ...

Drug-ionic channel interactions: Single-channel measurements

Annals of Neurology, 1984
Ionic channels of excitable membranes are the basic site where ionic fluxes take place during the generation of action potentials. A variety of natural toxins, chemicals, and therapeutic drugs have been found to modify the gating kinetics of the Na+ channels, thereby altering the excitation pattern.

Channel Measurements and Channel Traces

2016
Channel properties and characteristics of real cellular mobile networks are investigated in this chapter. The conducted measurements serve the purpose of a) highlighting the properties of cellular networks in order to design a novel congestion control protocol and b) collecting channel traces to emulate real network behavior in a simulated environment.

Two-Channel Sequential Single-Molecule Measurement

Analytical Chemistry, 1997
Experimental results are given which demonstrate the sequential detection of single molecules with a measurement efficiency of near unity. IR140 dye molecules are detected in sequential probe volumes within a flowing stream through a 9 μm i.d. capillary.

Double-directional channel measurements

11th International Conference on Antennas and Propagation (ICAP 2001), 2001
The spatial mobile radio channel contains delay information and angular information about the multipath components (m.p.c.s.). Signal delay and ensuing intersymbol interference has played an important role since the inception of digital mobile radio systems like GSM.

Channel Measurement and Modeling

2017
The wireless channel model is a deterministric or stochastic numerical description of physical propagation enviroments based on channel measurement or analysis and simulation on the basis of propagation theories. It provides an effective and simple means to approximately express the channel characteristics of the wireless transmission.

Channel estimation using measurement of channel impulse response

2014 ELEKTRO, 2014
Paper describes measurement of channel impulse response for instantaneous channel state information (CSI). Measurements were done in indoor environment (laboratory) at Department of Telecommunications and Multimedia, University of Zilina. Carrier frequency 2.4 GHz was used for each measurement.
