We present in this paper preliminary results using speaker recognition and speech recognition techniques, designed at LIP6, to index audio data of video movies. The assumption that only one person is speaking at the same time is made. In a first approach, we work on dialogue unsupervised indexing using speaker recognition techniques.

Multi-channel Classification of Respiratory Sounds
2006 International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2006In this study, respiratory sounds of pathological and healthy subjects were analyzed via frequency spectrum and AR model parameters with a view to construct a diagnostic aid based on auscultation. Each subject is represented by 14 channels of respiratory sound data of a single respiration cycle.

Multi-channel Environmental sound segmentation

Attenuation in Randomly Inhomogeneous Sound Channels
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1974Estimates of the absorption of sound in sea water, based on sound channel experiments, can be seriously affected by scattering from random inhomogeneities in sound speed. Ray diffusion theory leads to an additional component of attenuation independent of frequency.

Compressive spatial channel sounding
12th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP 2018), 2018In this paper we investigate the application of Compressed Sensing (CS) to MIMO channel sounding in the spatial domain. A compressive spatial channel sounder is proposed and evaluated based on real scenarios showing advantages in terms of time, hardware complexity and resolution.
