Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Channel State Feedback Over the MIMO-MAC

open access: yes
In order to exploit the full multiplexing gain of multi-antenna multi-user downlink schemes, accurate channel state information at the transmitter (i.e., at the base station) is required.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Joint Channel Prediction Aided Differentially Encoded TTCM and BICMID Assisted Eigen-Beamforming

open access: yes, 2007
Eigen-beamforming is capable of providing attractive performance gains in the context of multiple-input multiple-output systems, provided accurate channel state information (CSI) is available.

Norm-based joint transmit/receive antenna selection aided and two-tier channel estimation assisted STSK systems

open access: yes, 2014
We propose a simple yet effective norm-based joint transmit and receive antenna selection (NBJTRAS) assisted and two-tier channel estimation (TTCE) aided space-time shift keying (STSK) system, which is capable of significantly outperforming the ...

Asymptotic information leakage under one-try attacks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We study the asymptotic behaviour of (a) information leakage and (b) adversary’s error probability in information hiding systems modelled as noisy channels.

Study of channel state information feedback based on artificial intelligence

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2022
Accurate acquisition of CSI (channel state information) is the key to the performance of massive MIMO.In current communication systems, when the reciprocity of uplink and downlink is not ideal, codebook-based CSI feedback is used for downlink CSI ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.
