Optimal configuration method of distributed generation considering flexible distribution unit

open access: yes电力工程技术, 2023
The unreasonable planning of the access location and capacity of distributed generation (DG) affects the distribution network. The flexible power distribution unit has the advantages of flexible power flow distribution and voltage improvement. The steady-

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

A biologically-inspired approach to designing wireless sensor networks

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper, we contend that there are significant advantages in treating some classes of sensor networks as biological-like systems-- both in structural design characteristics and in operational processes.

A Dual‐Functional Electrolyte Additive for Highly Reversible Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) as a dual‐function additive for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. TBAB disrupts the hydrogen‐bond network of water while TBA+ adsorbs on Zn to improve interfacial wettability and regulate Zn2+ flux, resulting in suppressed dendrite growth and parasitic reactions. This synergy extended the lifespan of Zn|

Supercritical Pitchfork Bifurcation of a Fractional‐Order Doubly‐Fed Induction Generator

open access: yesEnergy Science & Engineering
To address the problem of the chaos phenomenon caused by the parameter drift of a doubly‐fed induction generator (DFIG) due to a changing operating environment, a fractional‐order stator voltage/flux‐oriented control model is developed, and bifurcation ...

Using LabView environment for the demonstration of generator dynamic behavior

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2018
Under consideration is a virtual device (VD) in NI – LabVIEW environment for the demonstration of a generator dynamic behavior close to borders of its stability area. The generator is operating for the unlimited power system.

Compensating for imperfections in solvable chaotic oscillators [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Advances
We show a method to compensate for a class of implementation imperfections in a solvable chaotic oscillator while maintaining an analytic solution. We demonstrate the method by compensating for propagation delay in an electronic circuit realization of ...

Attenuation of Line Spectra and Vibration Based on a Chaotification Method and Global Analysis

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2022
The chaotification method can be used to weaken the line spectra component of the ship's radiated noise. The main obstacle that plagues the engineering realization of this innovative concept is how to realize the small-amplitude chaotic motion of the ...

Deterministic chaos in an ytterbium-doped mode-locked fiber laser

open access: yes, 2018
We experimentally study the nonlinear dynamics of a femtosecond ytterbium doped mode-locked fiber laser. With the laser operating in the pulsed regime a route to chaos is presented, starting from stable mode-locking, period two, period four, chaos and ...

Soft Hardware, Flowing Software: Reconfigurable Microfluidics for Adaptable Chemical Computation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A reconfigurable microfluidic platform based on soft, photo‐printable, and chemically erasable hydrogel structures printed and erased in situ is used to control flow routing, mixing, chemical patterning, and even chemical computing. Using hardware to control chemical computations decouples logic function from molecular composition, demonstrated via ...
