Memristors based on trimethylsulfonium (phenanthroline)tetraiodobismuthate have been utilised as a nonlinear node in a delayed feedback reservoir. This system allowed an efficient classification of acoustic signals, namely differentiation of vocalisation of the brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula).

Covert Binary Communications through the Application of Chaos Theory: Three Novel Approaches [PDF]
Today, most covert communications systems use a spreadspectrum approach to ensure that transmissions remain clandestine. This paper expands beyond traditional spreadspectrum schemes and into chaos theory in communications by presenting a novel design for

Evolution of Physical Intelligence Across Scales
By following the evolution of physical intelligence across scales, this article shows how intelligence arises from materials, structures, physical interactions, and collectives. It establishes physical intelligence as the evolutionary foundation upon which embodied intelligence is built.

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

Numerical approximation method and chaos for a chaotic system in sense of Caputo-Fabrizio operator
This paper presents a novel numerical method for analvwing chaotic systems, focusing on applications to real-world problems. The Caputo-Fabrizio operator, a fractional derivative without a singular kernel, is used to investigate chaotic behavior.

Multimodal Learning with Rashomon Analysis for Battery Discharge Capacity Prediction
Multimodal fusion integrates composition, crystal‐structure, and radial‐distribution descriptors to predict battery discharge capacity. Rashomon analysis across near‐optimal models reveals that explanatory variation is structured rather than arbitrary, separating stable mechanistic signals from model‐contingent attributions and providing a more ...

Out-of-time order correlators (OTOCs) are crucial tools for studying quantum chaos as they show distinct scrambling behavior for chaotic Hamiltonians. We calculate the OTOC and analyze the quantum information scrambling in atom–field and spin–spin interaction models, which are open-system models and exhibit non-Markovian behavior.
