Chaotic and pseudochaotic attractors of perturbed fractional oscillator

open access: yes, 2005
We consider a nonlinear oscillator with fractional derivative of the order alpha. Perturbed by a periodic force, the system exhibits chaotic motion called fractional chaotic attractor (FCA). The FCA is compared to the ``regular'' chaotic attractor.

Chaotic Repellers in Antiferromagnetic Ising Model

open access: yes, 1995
For the first time we present the consideration of the antiferromagnetic Ising model in case of fully developed chaos and obtain the exact connection between this model and chaotic repellers.

Chaotic relaxation

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 1969
AbstractIn this paper we consider relaxation methods for solving linear systems of equations. These methods are suited for execution on a parallel system of processors. They have the feature of allowing a minimal amount of communication of computational status between the computers, so that the relaxation process, while taking on a chaotic appearance ...

Transparent, Sprayable Plastic Films for Luminescent Down‐Shifted‐Assisted Plant Growth

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 6, March 18, 2025.
Spreading the light: A modular approach to down‐shifting europium‐containing polyoxotitanium luminescent cages is developed, allowing their incorporation into sprayable plastic coatings on agricultural greenhouses for accelerated plant growth. Abstract The world's steadily growing population and global heating due to climate change are a threat to food

Low‐Noise, Unbiased Ferromagnetic‐Resonance‐Driven Thin‐Film Integrated Giant Magnetoimpedance Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Utilizing a novel (Ni81Fe19/Ti)4/Cu/(Ni81Fe19/Ti)4 thin‐film multilayer with low coercive field, low damping and a superior GMI ratio, a compact, low‐noise unbiased FMR‐driven integrated GMI sensor with a superior magnetic noise performance of ≈100 pT/√Hz is first demonstrated, owing to reduced phase noise from well‐defined aligned magnetic domains and

A Type of Delay Feedback Control of Chaotic Dynamics in a Chaotic Neural Network

open access: yes, 2004
A chaotic neural network consisting of chaotic neurons exhibits such rich dynamical behaviors as nonperiodic associative memory. But it is difficult to distinguish the stored patterns from others, since the chaotic neural network shows chaotic ...

Anti‐Counterfeiting Tags with Camouflaged QR Codes on Nanocavities, Using Polymer‐Dispersed Liquid Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A QR code, printed through a commercial printer on a thin plastic foil, pre‐coated with a nanocavity is proposed as an anti‐counterfeiting label. Nanocavity imparts distinctive optical properties in terms of light reflection and transmission. A thin layer of polymer‐dispersed liquid crystals (PDLC) is used to camouflage the QR code, that become ...
