Chaotic Vibrations in a Buckled Beam Induced by a Galloping Phenomenon [PDF]
Chaos theory has spectacularly evolved since the pioneering work by E. Lorenz on chaotic motion in a simple, deterministic system. Since then, the chaotic behavior of many other deterministic, low-dimensional systems in a large variety of fields has been ...

Intermittent generalized synchronization in unidirectionally coupled chaotic oscillators
A new behavior type of unidirectionally coupled chaotic oscillators near the generalized synchronization transition has been detected. It has been shown that the generalized synchronization appearance is preceded by the intermitted behavior: close to ...

Non‐Continuous Iridescent Variable Structural Color Based on Metallic Surface Periodic Structures
This study presents an ink‐free laser nanofabrication technique that generates periodic arched microstructures on titanium surfaces, achieving non‐continuous iridescent dual‐color switching. The ridge and side flanks of these structures possess distinct oxide film thicknesses, enabling angle‐dependent selective reflection of specific wavelengths.

Stickiness in mushroom billiards
We investigate dynamical properties of chaotic trajectories in mushroom billiards. These billiards present a well-defined simple border between a single regular region and a single chaotic component.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Chaos and bifurcation of a nonlinear discrete prey-predator system [PDF]
The discrete-time Prey-predator system obtained by two dimensional map was studied in present study. The fixed points and their stability were analyzed. Bifurcation diagram has been obtained for selected range of different parameters.

The Effects of Symmetries on Quantum Fidelity Decay
We explore the effect of a system's symmetries on fidelity decay behavior. Chaos-like exponential fidelity decay behavior occurs in non-chaotic systems when the system possesses symmetries and the applied perturbation is not tied to a classical parameter.

Tunable 3D‐Printed Static Mixers for Gradient Bioprinting With High Cell Viability
ABSTRACT The fabrication of native tissue‐like structures with gradual transitions in material properties, cell types, and growth factors remains a major challenge in biofabrication due to the lack of suitable methods. Mimicking the hierarchical organization of living tissues is essential for functional models, yet creating gradient, multimaterial ...
