Hierarchical fractal Weyl laws for chaotic resonance states in open mixed systems. [PDF]
In open chaotic systems the number of long-lived resonance states obeys a fractal Weyl law, which depends on the fractal dimension of the chaotic saddle. We study the generic case of a mixed phase space with regular and chaotic dynamics.

Structure of resonance eigenfunctions for chaotic systems with partial escape. [PDF]
Physical systems are often neither completely closed nor completely open, but instead are best described by dynamical systems with partial escape or absorption.

Quantum resonances in chaotic scattering [PDF]
Abstract This Letter summarizes numerical results from [J. Comp. Phys. (to appear)] which show that in quantum systems with chaotic classical dynamics, the number of scattering resonances near an energy E scales like ℏ −(D K E +1)/2 .

This study explores the origins of life by linking prebiotic chemistry, the emergence of information‐carrying molecules such as RNA and proteins, and philosophical questions about consciousness. The study emphasizes the role of molecular evolution in the Central Dogma and provides insights into the chemical origins of biology and the basis of life's ...

Enhancing Chaotic Resonance in Asymmetric Cubic Maps via Double-Gaussian Asymmetric Feedback
Chaotic resonance can amplify responses of weak external inputs through intrinsic nonlinear fluctuations; however, the effective control of this phenomenon becomes challenging when the attractor dynamics are structurally asymmetric.

Dynamic control of chaotic resonators [PDF]
We report on the all-optical control of chaotic optical resonators based on silicon on insulator (SOI) platform. We show that simple non-chaotic cavities can be tuned to exhibit chaotic behavior via intense optical pump- ing, inducing a local change of refractive index.

Analysis of Resonance Transition Periodic Orbits in the Circular Restricted Three-Body Problem
Resonance transition periodic orbits exist in the chaotic regions where the 1:1 resonance overlaps with nearby interior or exterior resonances in the circular restricted three-body problem (CRTBP).
