Multimode Phonon Lasing via Self‐Induced Optical Coherent Pumping
A silicon optomechanical nanobeam generates self‐sustained phonon lasing in multiple competing mechanical modes via self‐pulsing, an intrinsic optical modulation arising from cavity nonlinearity. This self‐organized mechanism enables robust multi‐frequency operation spanning periodic, quasi‐periodic, and chaotic regimes without external modulation. The

Public channel cryptography by synchronization of neural networks and chaotic maps
Two different kinds of synchronization have been applied to cryptography: Synchronization of chaotic maps by one common external signal and synchronization of neural networks by mutual learning.

Contesting Regulatory Capacity: Exploring Doctrines in the Regulatory State
ABSTRACT The contemporary literature on regulation and development has emphasised the importance of low discretion devices for achieving desired policy objectives. At the same time, there has been a growing recognition that state capacity in general, and regulatory capacity more specifically, are essential for achieving development goals in a world of ...

Chaotic control problem of BEC system based on Hartree–Fock mean field theory
Due to the difficulty of studying nonlinear quantum systems and the unique composition of Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC) systems, BECs face significant difficulties in solving dynamic analysis and chaotic control problems.

Generalized synchronization onset
The behavior of two unidirectionally coupled chaotic oscillators near the generalized synchronization onset has been considered. The character of the boundaries of the generalized synchronization regime has been explained by means of the modified ...

Abstract Different aspects of ecological systems, biotic or abiotic, often fluctuate in coordinated patterns over space and time. Such high concordance between ecological processes is often referred to as ecological synchrony. Human activities, including and beyond climate change, have the potential to alter ecological synchrony by disrupting or ...

Transitions to Measure Synchronization in Coupled Hamiltonian Systems
Transitions to measure synchronization in two coupled $\phi ^{4}$ lattices are investigated based on numerical simulations. The relationship between measure synchronization (MS), phase locking and system's total energy is studied both for periodic and ...

A pilot variational coupled reanalysis based on the CESAM climate model
Variational data assimilation of in‐situ and satellite ocean data and reanalysis atmospheric data into an intermediate complexity Earth system model is possible by adjusting the surface fluxes and internal model parameters. This pilot application requires nearly complete information on the atmospheric state for synchronization.
