Indian and African monsoons: Trajectories and interactions

open access: yesQuarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, EarlyView.
The catch basin of marine air particles of the Indian monsoon is the tropical Indian ocean, whilst that of the African monsoon is the east tropical Atlantic. However, the oscillations induced by the monsoonal interactions favour particle exchange between the two basins. These transitions are abrupt in the presence of stochastic resonance. The monsoonal

Phase and frequency response theory for chaotic oscillators

open access: yes, 2017
While phase response theory for limit cycle oscillators is a well established tool for the study of synchronization with predictive powers beyond simple linear response, an analogous, unified approach for the study of phase synchronization for autonomous

Chaos synchronization of the master-slave generalized Lorenz systems via linear state error feedback control

open access: yes, 2008
This paper provides a unified method for analyzing chaos synchronization of the generalized Lorenz systems. The considered synchronization scheme consists of identical master and slave generalized Lorenz systems coupled by linear state error variables. A

Control System for the Navigation of the Agricultural Robots: A Review

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Control systems for the navigation of autonomous agricultural robots—particularly those operating in uneven terrain and in the presence of static or dynamic obstacles—have advanced considerably in recent years. As conventional machinery evolves toward increasingly automated systems, the design of reliable navigation controllers has become ...

Robust synchronization of chaotic systems

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2000
The question of robustness of synchronization with respect to small arbitrary perturbations of the underlying dynamical systems is addressed. We present examples of chaos synchronization demonstrating that normal hyperbolicity is a necessary and sufficient condition for the synchronization manifold to be smooth and persistent under small perturbations.

Sampling, Mobility, and Anchoring in Small‐Body Sampling Robots: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesSmartBot, EarlyView.
Small‐body sampling robots are exploration systems that perform contact, sampling, and stable operations on microgravity bodies such as asteroids and comets. The authors review representative robot architectures and key technologies, focusing on the mechanisms, evolution, and coupling of sampling, mobility, and anchoring.

Compound Synchronization of Four Chaotic Complex Systems

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2015
The chaotic complex system is designed from the start of the chaotic real system. Dynamical properties of a chaotic complex system in complex space are investigated.

Time scale synchronization of chaotic oscillators

open access: yes, 2006
This paper presents the result of the investigation of chaotic oscillator synchronization. A new approach for detecting of synchronized behaviour of chaotic oscillators has been proposed. This approach is based on the analysis of different time scales in

Information Dynamics and Learning in Complex Adaptive Systems: Toward a Transdisciplinary Framework

open access: yesSystems Research and Behavioral Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article develops a framework for understanding learning and adaptation in complex adaptive systems. Drawing from neuroscience, systems theory, information theory and quantum field theory, it examines how information processing, plasticity and systemic coherence emerge from distributed, nonlinear and feedback‐driven interactions. It argues
