Synchronization of Chaotic Neuronal Oscillators

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 1998
The paper deals with noise-induced synchronization of chaotic neurotic maps with different initiations. Noise can be important for stochastic resonance to enhance the signal detection sensitivity in a chaotic neural network and can even lead to a complete synchronization of uncoupled maps. The stability of the noise-induced synchronization in a network

Noise-resistant chaotic synchronization

Physical Review E, 2001
The practical applications of self-synchronizing chaotic systems are greatly limited by their sensitivity to noise. Even small amounts of noise added to the synchronizing signal can degrade synchronization to the point where information encoded on the chaotic signal can't be recovered. In this paper, I show that it is possible to build chaotic circuits

Chaotic Gyros Synchronization

2011
In this chapter, three methods for synchronizing of two chaotic gyros in the presence of uncertainties, external disturbances and dead-zone nonlinearity are studied. In the first method, there is dead-zone nonlinearity in the control input, which limits the performance of accurate control methods.

Experimental synchronization of chaotic lasers

Physical Review Letters, 1994
We report the observation of synchronization of the chaotic intensity fluctuations of two Nd:YAG lasers when one or both the lasers are driven chaotic by periodic modulation of their pump beams.

Anticipating chaotic synchronization

Physical Review E, 2000
Dissipative chaotic systems with a time-delayed feedback can drive near-identical systems in such a way that the driven systems anticipate the drivers by synchronizing with their (arbitrarily distant) future states. This counterintuitive behavior is globally stable, robust, and a pure result of the interplay between delayed feedback and dissipation ...

Chaotic synchronization in Hamiltonian systems

Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 1994
It is shown that Hamiltonian systems can exhibit the phenomenon of chaotic synchronization. Specific attention is paid to the standard map. Analytic synchronization conditions are derived and numerically verified for the standard map. We report on experimental studies of an analog electronic circuit realization of a ‘‘piecewise linear standard map ...

IDENTICAL SYNCHRONIZATION OF CHAOTIC SYSTEMS

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2006
We consider the problem of identical synchronization (IS) of chaotic systems in two cases: (i) system uncertainty exists in the drive system, and (ii) output uncertainty exists in the drive system. No matter which case it is, the IS problem can be resolved via the combination of unknown input observers (UIOs) and the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

Robustness of Synchronized Chaotic Oscillations

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 1997
In this paper we address the issue of robustness of synchronized chaotic oscillations in coupled systems. One frequently observes in physical experiments that synchronized chaotic oscillations are occasionally interrupted by brief incidents of unsynchronized behavior.

Synchronizing Solvable Chaotic Oscillators

SoutheastCon 2021, 2021
We present the synchronization of two chaotic systems. These systems consist of solvable chaotic oscillator circuits operating at 10kHz with similar parameters. Although many chaotic systems have been synchronized, few instances of synchronized solvable chaos have been reported in hardware.

Enhancing synchronism of chaotic systems

Physical Review E, 1994
Recent work has considered the situation where a state variable (or variables) of a chaotically evolving system is used as an input to a replica of part of the original system. It was found that the replica subsystem often synchronizes to the chaotic evolution of the original system, and it has been suggested that this phenomenon may be used for secure
