Chemically Engineered L. reuteri Delivering αPD‐L1 and Gallium Ions via Metal‐Phenolic Networks Potentiate Anti‐Tumor Immunity and Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifaceted chemical strategy, integrating bacterial tropism, metal‐ion interference therapy, and immunotherapy, resulted in significant tumor regression in murine models. A pioneering paradigm for the design of biohybrid materials was established, highlighting how sophisticated chemical engineering of living systems can unlock new avenues for ...

The Time Series Classification of Discrete-Time Chaotic Systems Using Deep Learning Approaches

open access: yesMathematics
Discrete-time chaotic systems exhibit nonlinear and unpredictable dynamic behavior, making them very difficult to classify. They have dynamic properties such as the stability of equilibrium points, symmetric behaviors, and a transition to chaos.

Kinesin‐Induced Buckling Reveals the Limits of Microtubule Self‐Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that kinesin‐driven buckling induces extensive microtubule lattice damage that often exceeds intrinsic self‐repair and leads to filament failure. While curvature, motor motility, and force individually cause limited damage, their combination overwhelms repair.

The Robust Control and Synchronization of a Class of Fractional-Order Chaotic Systems with External Disturbances via a Single Output

open access: yesComplexity, 2018
This paper investigates the stabilization and synchronization of a class of fractional-order chaotic systems which are affected by external disturbances. The chaotic systems are assumed that only a single output can be used to design the controller.

Enhanced High Dimensionality and the Information Processing Capacity in Interfered Spin Wave‐Based Reservoir Computing, Achieved With Eight Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Physical reservoir computing (PRC) based on spin wave interference has demonstrated high computational performance, yet room for improvement remains. In this study, we fabricated this concept PRC with eight detectors and evaluated the impact of the number of detectors using a chaotic time series prediction task.

Synchronization of Analog Neuron Circuits With Digital Memristive Synapses: An Hybrid Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
An hybrid circuit mimicking neural units coupled using memristive synapses is introduced. The analog neurons provide flexibility and robustness, and the digital memristive coupling guarantees the full reconfigurability of the interconnection. The onset of a synchronized spiking behavior in two circuits mimicking the Izhikevich neuron is discussed from ...

A new chaotic hyperjerk system with a half-line of equilibrium points, its dynamic analysis, multistability, circuit simulation and anti-synchronization via backstepping control [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences
In this work, we present a new four-dimensional chaotic hyperjerk system with a half-line of equilibrium points. In the chaos literature, it is well-known that chaotic systems with an infinite number of equilibrium points exhibit hidden attractors. Thus,

Spheres, tears, and spears: Regulating the perimeter and circularity of millimeter‐sized alginate hydrogel beads

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Generating hydrogel beads pertains to many engineering applications. We examined two alginate‐based fluids at three concentrations of alginate, cAG$$ {c}_{\mathrm{AG}} $$. We used the “Map of Misery” to determine which material property (viscosity, elasticity, and inertia) drives droplet formation.
