On synchronization of chaotic systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
This paper deals with the problem of synchronization, or observer design, of chaotic dynamical systems. It is argued that the complex nature of the transmitter dynamics may provide additional tools for finding a suitable observer.

Raman Microscopy at the Organic–Inorganic Interfaces in Human Calcified Aortic Valves Shows the Co‐Existence of Whitlockite Crystals and Carbonated Hydroxyapatite‐Mineralized Collagen Fibrils

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study advances our understanding of aortic valve stenosis by capturing spatially resolved chemical and structural changes at the nanoscale. The findings highlight the potential of combined Raman and electron microscopy for understanding calcification mechanisms across diverse tissue types.

Liquid Crystalline Inverted Lipid Phases and Reverse Micelles in Drug Delivery: From Molecular Design to Therapeutic Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Liquid crystalline inverted lipid phases and reverse micelles are self‐assembled lipid nanostructures that enhance the solubility, stability, and delivery of diverse therapeutics. This review integrates their physicochemical principles, formulation strategies, drug loading mechanisms, and biomedical applications, highlighting their growing ...

Synchronization of Incommensurate Fractional-Order Chaotic Systems Based on Linear Feedback Control

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
The dynamics and synchronization of fractional-order (FO) chaotic systems have received much attention in recent years. However, the research are focused mostly on FO commensurate systems.

Entanglement dynamics in chaotic systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We study quantum chaos for systems with more than one degree of freedom, for which we present an analysis of the dynamics of entanglement. Our analysis explains the main features of entanglement dynamics and identifies entanglement-based signatures of ...

Stabilization of Miscible Aqueous Phases via Diffusion‐Controlled Multifunctional Nanoparticle‐Ligand Complexation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a versatile approach to harnessing miscible aqueous domains, enabling liquid‐in‐liquid compartmentalization using a barrier formed in situ rather than bulk immiscibility. The barrier forms upon the complexation of multifunctional nanoparticles and ligands at the contact boundary of aqueous phases.

Chaotic Dynamical Systems [PDF]

open access: yesChaotic Dynamical Systems, 1993
The Characteristic Lyapunov Exponents (CLE) are a natural extension of the linear stability analysis to aperiodic motion in dynamical systems. Roughly speaking, they measure the typical rates of the exponential divergence of nearby trajectories. This sensitive dependence on initial conditions is the main characteristic of deterministic chaos, which ...

Synchronization in driven versus autonomous coupled chaotic maps

open access: yes, 2005
The phenomenon of synchronization occurring in a locally coupled map lattice subject to an external drive is compared to the synchronization process in an autonomous coupled map system with similar local couplings plus a global interaction.

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

FPGA-Based Chaotic Oscillator Designs and Performance Analysis

open access: yesChaos and Fractals
Chaotic systems are highly sensitive to initial conditions, where even minute changes can result in vastly different outcomes. The non-linear nature of chaotic systems prevents them from reaching a stable state, instead exhibiting continuous change ...
