Telencephalic eversion in embryos and early larvae of four teleost species
Evolution &Development, Volume 26, Issue 2, March 2024.The telencephalon of ray‐finned fishes undergoes eversion, not evagination as in the rest of vertebrates. We show that the formation of the ventricle followed by a rostro‐caudal telencephalic expansion is key for the formation of an everted telencephalon in teleosts.
