Counter-example to conjectured SU(N) character asymptotics [PDF]
arXiv, 2003 We give a counterexample to the large $N$ asymptotics of character values $\chi_R(U)$ of irreducible characters of SU(N) conjectured in papers of Gross-Matytsin and Kazakov-Wynter in 1995. Our counterexample is based on Kostant's calculation of values of SU(N) characters on Coxeter elements.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Using novel probe‐based metrics, this study evaluates lattice structures on criteria critical to cellular solid optimization. Triply‐periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices outperform other lattices, offering more predictable mechanical behavior in complex design spaces and, as a result, higher performance in optimized models.

Principally specialized characters of sl(m|1)^-modules [PDF]
arXiv, 2001 In this paper, we calculate a series of principally specialized characters of the $\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}(m|1)$-modules of level 1. In particular, we show that the principally specialized characters of the basic modules $L(\Lambda_0)$ is expressed as an infinite product. And we deduce the specialized character formula of ``quasiparticle'' type.

Quantum trigonometric Calogero-Sutherland model and irreducible characters for the exceptional algebra E8 [PDF]
arXiv, 2008 We express the Hamiltonian of the quantum trigonometric Calogero-Sutherland model for the Lie algebra E8 and coupling constant k=1 by using the fundamental irreducible characters of the algebra as dynamical independent variables. Then, we compute the second order characters of the algebra and some higher order characters.

It evaluates the applicability of beam‐based scaling laws to TPMS lattices. Rigidity arises from the alignment of members with the load direction and solid regions preventing rotation.

On Characters of F_4 Lie Algebra [PDF]
arXiv, 2008 In a previous work, we have given an explicit method to obtain irreducible characters of finite Lie algebras without referring to Weyl character formula. Irreducible characters of $G_2$ Lie algebra has been given as an example. The work is now extended to somewhat more complicated case of $F_4$ Lie algebra, in the same manner.
