An extension of the characteristic angle method to the easy-plane spin-3/2 ferromagnet
The Characteristic Angle (CA) method [Lei Zhou and Ruibao Tao, J. Phys. A, {\bf 27} 5599] developed previously for the easy-plane spin-1 magnetic systems has been successfully extended to the spin-3/2 case.

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

Polyester Melt Characteristic Viscosity Prediction Method Under Incomplete Data
Characteristic viscosity is a key indicator of the quality of polyester melts, whose accurate prediction can help to identify potential quality problems of polyester melts in advance, adjust the process parameters in time and reduce enterprise losses ...

Method for forecasting the time standard of multiâ€characteristic item
The purpose of this paper is to propose a method for determining the time standard of items based on several characters, where part of them is quantitative and some of them are qualitative (dichotomic).

A modified particle method for semilinear hyperbolic systems with oscillatory solutions [PDF]
We introduce a modified particle method for semi-linear hyperbolic systems with highly oscillatory solutions. The main feature of this modified particle method is that we do not require different families of characteristics to meet at one point.

A characteristic particle method for traffic flow simulations on highway networks
A characteristic particle method for the simulation of first order macroscopic traffic models on road networks is presented. The approach is based on the method "particleclaw", which solves scalar one dimensional hyperbolic conservations laws exactly ...
