Generalized invexity and duality in multiobjective variational problems involving non-singular fractional derivative

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2022
In this article, we extend the generalized invexity and duality results for multiobjective variational problems with fractional derivative pertaining to an exponential kernel by using the concept of weak minima.

Maximal functions for Weinstein operator

open access: yesAnnales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis: Studia Mathematica, 2020
In the present paper, we study in the harmonic analysis associated to the Weinstein operator, the boundedness on Lp of the uncentered maximal function.

Why and When Are Evidence‐Based Interventions Adopted in Paediatric Supportive Care? A Qualitative Exploration of the Determinants of Photobiomodulation Implementation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

On α-Layer Ideal Topologies

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, 2012
The purpose of this paper is to study theory of two different kinds of α-layer order-preserving operator space, namely, ωα-opos and ωα*(ℑ)-opos. The former kind of space is formed by α-layer function in L-fuzzy order-preserving operator space.

Effective gravitational action for 2D massive Majorana fermions on arbitrary genus Riemann surfaces

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We explore the effective gravitational action for two-dimensional massive Euclidean Majorana fermions in a small mass expansion, continuing and completing the study initiated in a previous paper [1]. We perform a detailed analysis of local zeta functions,

Dexamethasone for Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting Prevention in Pediatric Patients: International Consensus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background An international Delphi panel of experts developed consensus statements to delineate the circumstances where the risks of dexamethasone as an antiemetic do and do not outweigh its benefits. Procedure Experts in supportive care of pediatric patients were invited to participate.

Nonself-Adjoint Second-Order Difference Operators in Limit-Circle Cases

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
We consider the maximal dissipative second-order difference (or discrete Sturm-Liouville) operators acting in the Hilbert space ℓ2𝑤(ℤ) (ℤ:={0,±1,±2,…}), that is, the extensions of a minimal symmetric operator with defect index (2,2) (in the Weyl ...

Diagnostic Criteria of Flow‐Mediated Vasodilation for Normal Endothelial Function and Nitroglycerin‐Induced Vasodilation for Normal Vascular Smooth Muscle Function of the Brachial Artery

open access: yesJournal of the American Heart Association: Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease, 2020
Background Diagnostic criteria of flow‐mediated vasodilation (FMD), an index of endothelial function, and nitroglycerin‐induced vasodilation (NID), an index of vascular smooth muscle function, of the brachial artery have not been established. The purpose

Berezinians, Exterior Powers and Recurrent Sequences

open access: yes, 2003
We study power expansions of the characteristic function of a linear operator $A$ in a $p|q$-dimensional superspace $V$. We show that traces of exterior powers of $A$ satisfy universal recurrence relations of period $q$. `Underlying' recurrence relations

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.
