Simplified quantum sensing technique for the detection of short electrical signals occurring in neuronal signaling or bioinspired technologies. We demonstrate a single frequency continuous‐wave optically detected magnetic resonance (CW‐ODMR) approach to sense signals that can be as short as 0.2 ms.

A note on the characteristic polynomial of the commutation matrix
Recently Magnus and Neudecker (1979) derived several properties of the so-called commutation matrix, i.e. the matrix that maps vec A onto vec A′. Hartwig and Morris (1975) studied its characteristic polynomial, but the formula they obtain is not quite ...

Cornus mas L. seeds are transformed into a high‐performance biosorbent through chemical modification, effectively removing methylene blue from aqueous solutions. Comprehensive characterization and optimization reveal a maximum biosorption capacity of 71.71 mg g−1, establishing this sustainable, cost‐effective material as a promising solution for ...

Minimal Energy Tree with 4 Branched Vertices
The energy of a graph is defined as the sum of absolute values of the eigenvalues of its adjacency matrix. Let Ω(n,4) be the class of all trees of order n and having 4 branched vertices. In this paper, the minimal energy tree in the class Ω(n,4) is found.

On the coefficients of the characteristic polynomial of a matrix
As is well known, the coefficients \(p_ i\) \((i=0,1, \dots, n)\) of the characteristic polynomial of a square matrix \(A\) of order \(n\) can be obtained from traces \(q_ k=\text{tr} A^ k\) \((k=0,1, \dots,n-1)\) by Newton's formulas in a recursive way. The author develops an explicit combinatorial formula yielding \(p_ i\) solely as functions of \(q_

This study explores how machine learning models, trained on small experimental datasets obtained via Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA), can accurately predict droplet size (D32) in ultrasonic spray coating (USSC). By capturing the influence of ink complexity (solvent, polymer, nanoparticles), power, and flow rate, the model enables precise droplet control

Milled polycrystalline NMC811 cathode (MPC NMC) with smaller secondary particle and higher surface area had 1) greater cathode tortuosity, 2) reduced surface Ni on the cycled MPC cathodes consistent with surface reconstruction, and 3) increased Ni deposition from cathode‐anode crosstalk, manifesting in lower functional capacity and higher impedance ...
