Periodic current oscillations of zinc in nitric acid solutions [PDF]
The charge percolation mechanism (CPM) of olefin polymerization in the presence of transition metal compounds has been applied to explain the polymerization of ethylene by silica supported chromium oxide.

An Origin of CMR: Competing Phases and Disorder-Induced Insulator-to-Metal Transition in Manganites
We theoretically explore the mechanism of the colossal magnetoresistance in manganese oxides by explicitly taking into account the phase competition between the double-exchange ferromagnetism and the charge-ordered insulator.

A Theory for High-$T_c$ Superconductors Considering Inhomogeneous Charge Distribution
We propose a general theory for the critical $T_c$ and pseudogap $T^*$ temperature dependence on the doping concentration for high-$T_c$ oxides, taking into account the charge inhomogeneities in the $CuO_2$ planes.

We have addressed the microscopic transport mechanism at the switching or on-off transition in transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) field-effect transistors (FET), which has been a controversial topic in TMDC electronics, especially at room temperature.

Transport properties of GaAs/{\delta}/GaAs/In\timesGa1-\timesAs/GaAs structures containing InxGa1-xAs (\times {\approx} 0.2) quantum well (QW) and Mn delta layer (DL) with relatively high, about one Mn monolayer (ML) content, are studied.

SNUPN‐Related Muscular Dystrophy: Novel Phenotypic, Pathological and Functional Protein Insights
ABSTRACT Objective SNUPN‐related muscular dystrophy or LGMDR29 is a new entity that covers from a congenital or childhood onset pure muscular dystrophy to more complex phenotypes combining neurodevelopmental features, cataracts, or spinocerebellar ataxia. So far, 12 different variants have been described.

Nanoscale Phenomenology from Visualizing Pair Formation Experiment
Recently, Gomes et al. [1] have visualized the gap formation in nanoscale regions (NRs) above the critical temperature T_c in the high-T_c superconductor Bi_2Sr_2CaCu_2O_{8+\delta}. It has been found that, as the temperature lowers, the NRs expand in the

Local transport in a disorder-stabilized correlated insulating phase [PDF]
We report the experimental realization of a correlated insulating phase in 2D GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures at low electron densities in a limited window of background disorder.

This study proposes a new methodology for producing metal matrix nanocomposites in the solid state. The process involves the plasma‐assisted thermochemical treatment of metallic alloy powders. As a proof‐of‐concept, TiN nanoparticles are synthesized directly on the surface of FeTi intermetallic powder particles, enabling the development of the ...
