A Programmable Solid State Pulser for Charge-Sensitive Amplifier Systems

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1971
A circuit has been developed which allows excitation of charge sensitive amplifiers at high pulse repetition rates. The amplifier output waveform fidelity is nearly as good as that associated with low repetition rate mercury relay pulsers. The circuit may be self-contained or operated under external control by supplying a reference voltage and clock ...

Double Slope Dynamic Range and Low Noise Charge Sensitive Amplifier

2015
A cryogenic and low noise front end ASIC has been developed for WA105 experiment. Considering previous designs, the dynamic range had been multiplied by 6. In order to absorb high input charge and maintain low noise for small signals, we converged to a double slope functionality.
