Charge Transfer Doping of Silicon

Physical Review Letters, 2014
We demonstrate a novel doping mechanism of silicon, namely n-type transfer doping by adsorbed organic cobaltocene (CoCp2*) molecules. The amount of transferred charge as a function of coverage is monitored by following the ensuing band bending via surface sensitive core-level photoelectron spectroscopy.

Development in charge transfer theory

Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 1985
Abstract Basic problems of chemistry at interfaces are connected with the exploration of elementary processes of charge transfer. Multistep and chemical bond formation processes involved in such phenomena have been treated in terms of partial charge transfer models.

Charge transfer in the living matrix

Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, 2009
The living matrix is defined as the continuous molecular fabric of the organism, consisting of fascia, the other connective tissues, extracellular matrices, integrins, cytoskeletons, nuclear matrices and DNA. The extracellular, cellular and nuclear biopolymers or ground substances constitute a body-wide reservoir of charge that can maintain electrical ...

Charge transfer and martensitic nucleation

Il Nuovo Cimento D, 1987
The microscopic interpretation of phase stability in alloys undergoing thermoelastic martensitic transformation involves a difficult nucleation problem. The strong dependence of the critical temperature for the onset of martensite on composition requires the introduction of nonclassical defective nuclei, of dynamic nature, to obtain reasonable ...
