Diffusion‐Driven Targeted Passivation of Selenium Vacancies via an I‐Doped CdS Buffer Layer for Efficient Sb2Se3 Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Iodine incorporation into the CdS buffer layer induces spontaneous anion diffusion and selectively passivates selenium vacancies in Sb2Se3 absorbers. The formation of low‐energy, charge‐neutral ISe defects effectively suppresses non‐radiative recombination, resulting in a substantially enhanced open‐circuit voltage and boosting the device efficiency to

An intelligent partial charging navigation strategy for electric vehicles

open access: yesGeo-spatial Information Science
The rise of electric vehicles (EVs) has highlighted the issue of insufficient charging infrastructure, a major barrier to their widespread adoption. This problem is due to the limited capacity of existing charging networks and the performance constraints

Engineered Interfacial Control for Suppression of Phase Instability: Operando Visualization from Device to Module Scale

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Operando real‐time current density–voltage absorption spectroscopy visualizes spatial phase evolution in mixed‐halide perovskites from device to module scale. Phase instability preferentially initiates in regions with insufficient carrier extraction, revealing electrical boundary conditions as governing factors.

Sequential construction planning of electric taxi charging stations considering the development of charging demand

open access: yesJournal of Cleaner Production, 2019
Abstract In the process of electric vehicle marketization, the charging infrastructure, especially the planning and construction of fast charging stations, is extremely important. The construction of charging stations is limited by various social factors and should adapt to the development of the charging demand.

Astronaut hazard during free-flight polar EVA [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
Extravehicular Activity (EVA) during Shuttle flights planned for the late 1980's includes several factors which together may constitute an astronaut hazard. Free-flight EVA is planned whereas prior United States Earth orbit EVA has used umbilical tethers

Covalent Bonds Reinforced Strength and Modulus of Heterocyclic Aramid Fiber by Interfacial Aminated‐MXene Nanosheets

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We demonstrate the covalent bonds strategy to enhance the mechanical property of PBIA fiber by using interfacial MXene‐NH2 nanosheets. The MXene‐NH2 nanosheets with reactive amino sites that can serve as nucleating agents and chain anchors to enhance orientation, crystallinity and interchain interaction of PBIA fiber via strong interfacial amido ...

A two-layer planning method for location and capacity determination of public electric vehicle charging stations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
The planning of public charging stations is crucial for the growth of electric vehicles (EVs). To improve the accuracy of predicting EV charging demand in urban areas, we propose a charging decision-making model based on fuzzy logic.
