Impact of Oral Sebetralstat on Anxiety Associated With Hereditary Angioedema Attacks

In the phase 3 KONFIDENT trial of oral sebetralstat for on‐demand treatment of hereditary angioedema attacks, many attacks induced moderate‐to‐extreme anxiety. Sebetralstat reduced anxiety versus placebo; time to reductions agreed with trial endpoints, such as time to beginning of symptom relief.

Diverging in Vivo Immune Response Patterns After Oral Food Challenge in Peanut Allergic Adults

After the oral food challenge, peanut (PN)‐allergic adults were monitored over 4 weeks, which revealed diverging immune response patterns, with strong responders (SR) exhibiting heightened Ara h 2+ B cell expansion, PN sIgE induction and increasing PN‐specific Tconv. Weak responders (WR) had more activated PN‐specific Tregs.

The Diagnostic Odyssey of a Biochemically Confirmed Case of ML II: The First Western Patient With LYSET Deficiency

Clinical Genetics, EarlyView.
We identify a female patient with a homozygous nonsense variant (p.Gln38Ter) in the LYSET gene. This is the first western report of a challenging case of an extensive diagnostic odyssey and demonstrates that the LYSET gene must be considered in the differential diagnosis when M6P‐labeled lysosomal enzymes are altered.

Summary Background and Objectives Preventive tuberculosis (TB) therapy before initiating MTX or IL‐17/IL‐23/IL‐12/23p40 inhibitors for latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is supported by indirect evidence of TB reactivations with TNF inhibitors. However, direct evidence for MTX or IL‐17/IL‐23/IL‐12/23p40 inhibitors is limited.
