Systematics of U-spin sum rules for systems with direct sums

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
A rich mathematical structure underlying flavor sum rules has been discovered recently. In this work, we extend these findings to systems with a direct sum of representations. We prove several results for the general case.

A search for time-integrated CP violation in D0 → h−h+ decays

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
The preliminary results of a search for time-integrated CP violation in D0 → h−h+ (h = K, π) decays performed with 0.6 fb− of data collected by LHCb in 2011 are presented. The flavour of the charm meson is determined by the charge of the slow pion in the

Measurement of CP asymmetry in D0→K−K+ decays

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
A measurement of the time-integrated CP asymmetry in the Cabibbo-suppressed decay D0→K−K+ is performed using pp collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb−1, collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 ...

Consumer Acceptance of Conversational Bots: Systematic Literature Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Behaviour, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As consumers increasingly rely on conversational bots for daily tasks, evidence surrounding motivations for acceptance remains scattered. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted on 64 journal articles published between 2008 and 2024, of which 48 provided sufficient quantitative data for inclusion in a meta‐analysis.

LHCb results on CP violation in B0_{d/s} mixing and in the interference with decays (merge of abstract #237 and #262)

open access: yes, 2016
Measurements of $C\!P$ violation in neutral B meson mixing and in the interference with decays are excellent probes to search for physics beyond the Standard Model.

Why Are Consumers Ambivalent About AI‐Generated Images? The Moderating Role of Commercial Versus Noncommercial Content Type

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Behaviour, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Grounded in ambivalence theories, this research examined factors shaping consumer ambivalence toward AI‐generated content and investigated differences between commercial and noncommercial contexts. As a preliminary study, sentiment analysis of Reddit data using a support vector machine (SVM) revealed that most consumer sentiment toward AI ...

Framing Modern Slavery: Do Stakeholders Talk Past Each Other?

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Administrative Sciences / Revue Canadienne des Sciences de l'Administration, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Modern slavery literature has thus far mostly adopted a downstream perspective, in the sense that researchers investigated corporate actors' responses after the enactment of transparency legislation. The common finding is that corporate disclosure is poor and ineffective, contributing to a failure to eradicate modern slavery.

Model-independent bounds on light pseudoscalars from rare B-meson decays

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
New light pseudoscalars, such as axion-like particles, appear in many well-motivated extensions of the Standard Model and provide an exciting target for present and future experiments.

Rank‐based estimation of propensity score weights via subclassification

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Statistics, EarlyView.
Abstract Propensity score (PS) weighting estimators are widely used for causal effect estimation and enjoy desirable theoretical properties, such as consistency and potential efficiency under correct model specification. However, their performance can degrade in practice due to sensitivity to PS model misspecification.
