Charm physics at ATLAS [PDF]

open access: diamondEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
This proceeding contribution presents the recent highlights of charm physics programme of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. These include measurements of charmonia production both in pp and nuclear collisions, charmonium pair production,

Charm physics confronts high-p T lepton tails [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We present a systematic survey of possible short-distance new-physics effects in (semi)leptonic charged- and neutral-current charmed meson decays. Using the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) to analyze the most relevant experimental data at ...

Far-forward production of charm mesons and neutrinos at Forward Physics Facilities at the LHC and the intrinsic charm in the proton [PDF]

open access: greenPhysical Review D, 2022
We discuss production of far-forward $D$ mesons/antimesons and neutrinos/antineutrinos from their semileptonic decays in pp-collisions at the LHC. We include the gluon-gluon fusion $gg \to c\bar{c}$, the intrinsic charm (IC) $gc \to gc$ as well as the ...

Physics Program of the Super Tau-Charm Factory [PDF]

open access: goldProceedings of 19th International Conference on B-Physics at Frontier Machines — PoS(BEAUTY2020), 2021
In this talk, I present the potential physics program of the super 𝜏 -charm factory (STCF). The STCF is an electron-positron collider with a center-of-mass energy ranging from 2 to 7 GeV and an instantaneous luminosity greater than 0 . 5 × 10 35 cm − 2 s

Charm Physics at BESIII [PDF]

open access: goldJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2016
The study of mesons and baryons which contain at least one charm quark is referred to as open charm physics. It offers the possibility to study up-type quark transitions.

Highlight of Charm Physics at BESIII [PDF]

open access: diamondEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
In this talk, we present the recent results of charm physics from the BESIII collaboration. This talk covers the studies of the leptonic and semi-leptonic decays of D mesons, and the measurement of the strong phase difference based on the quantum ...

Hadronic physics from a Wilson fermion mixed-action approach: charm quark mass and $$D_{(s)}$$ D ( s ) meson decay constants [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
We present our first set of results for charm physics, using the mixed-action setup introduced in a companion paper [1]. Maximally twisted Wilson valence fermions are used on a sea of non-perturbatively O(a)-improved Wilson fermions, made up by CLS $$N_ ...

Charm Physics Prospects at Belle II [PDF]

open access: gold, 2017
The Belle II experiment is under construction at the KEK laboratory in Japan. Belle II will study e+e- collisions at or near the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the goal of collecting 50 ab-1 of data, which is a large increase over that recorded by the Belle ...

Heavy Domain Wall Fermions: The RBC and UKQCD charm physics program [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
We review the domain wall charm physics program of the RBC and UKQCD collaborations based on simulations including ensembles with physical pion mass. We summarise our current set-up and present a status update on the decay constants fD, fDs, the charm ...

Towards precision charm physics with a mixed action [PDF]

open access: greenProceedings of The 39th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory — PoS(LATTICE2022), 2022
We report on our first set of results for charm physics, using a mixed-action setup with maximally twisted valence fermions on CLS 𝑁 𝑓 = 2 + 1 ensembles. This setup avoids the need of improvement coefficients to subtract 𝑂 ( 𝑎𝑚 𝑐 ) effects.
