BRIEF REVIEW OF CHARM PHYSICS [PDF]
Charm physics has attracted increased attention after the first evidence for charm mixing was observed in 2007. The level of attention has risen sharply after LHCb reported first evidence for CP violation in the charm sector. Neither mixing nor CP violation have been established by a single unambiguous measurement to date.

AbstractWe review recent developments in charm physics, focusing on the physics of charmed mesons. We discuss recent progress in charm spectroscopy and the multitude of mesonic and baryonic exotic states containing charm quarks. We review searches for new physics with charmed mesons with rare decays.

The status of charm physics with emphasis on recent high statistics results from fixed target experiments is presented. The topics covered include charm production, D/sup 0//bar D//sup 0/ mixing, charm baryons and excited states such as the D**. Also reviewed are charm decays: hadronic, leptonic as well as semileptonic. Finally, we take a brief look at

High energy neutrino interactions induce charmed hadron production at the level of a few percent and therefore they constitute a powerful tool to study charm physics. After 30 years of investigations with different neutrino beams and different detection techniques, important results have been achieved while other topics still need to be clarified ...

Open Charm Physics at BESIII [PDF]
The study of mesons and baryons containing at least one c quark is denoted as open charm physics. BESIII has collected large data samples at charm related thresholds which provide unique opportunities to study charm decays.

Recent measurements of charm production at HERA are presented. They include measurements of charm fragmentation fractions, of charm production in DIS and of inelastic and exclusive J/ψ photoproduction. Charm measurements have been combined and analysed in the framework of a QCD fit to inclusive and charm data.
