2013Pie charts and donut charts are an excellent way to show the breakdown of data into their constituent parts. A pie chart is a circular chart divided into sectors, or “slices,” and its main purpose is to illustrate their relative proportions: the arc length of each slice is proportional to the quantity it represents.
