First order smooth composite Chebyshev finite difference method for solving coupled Lane-Emden problem in catalytic diffusion reactions [PDF]
A new effective technique based on Chebyshev Finite Difference Method is introduced. First order smoothness of the approximation polynomial at the end points of each sub-interval is imposed in addition to the continuity condition. Both round-off and truncation error analyses are given besides the convergence analysis.

An efficient 4-step block method for solution of first order initial value problems via shifted chebyshev polynomial [PDF]
In this paper, we develop a four-step block method for solution of first order initial value problems of ordinary differential equations. The collocation and interpolation approach is adopted to obtain a continuous scheme for the derived method via Shifted Chebyshev Polynomials, truncated after sufficient terms.

Meshless local Petrov-Galerkin method for rotating Rayleigh beam using Chebyshev and Legendre polynomials [PDF]
The numerical solutions are obtained for rotating beams; the inclusion of centrifugal force term makes it difficult to get the analytical solutions. In this paper, we solve the free vibration problem of rotating Rayleigh beam using Chebyshev and Legendre

A new approach to the formation of systems of linear algebraic equations for solving ordinary differential equations by the collocation method [PDF]
A new algorithm for the numerical solution of one-dimensional Cauchy problems and Poisson equations is implemented. The algorithm is based on the collocation method and representation of the solution as an expansion in Chebyshev polynomials.

Numerical Solution of Optimal Control Problems Using New Third Kind Chebyshev Wavelets Operational Matrix of Integration [PDF]
In this paper, we first construct third kind Chebyshev wavelets on the interval [0,1). Then, a 2^k M×2^k M matrix P, named as almost third kind Chebyshev wavelets operational matrix of integration is constracted and used to reduce the optimal control ...

On computation of Hough functions [PDF]
Hough functions are the eigenfunctions of the Laplace tidal equation governing fluid motion on a rotating sphere with a resting basic state. Several numerical methods have been used in the past.

To Solution of Contact Problem for Rectangular Plate on Elastic Half-Space
Until the present time there is no exact solution to the contact problem for a rectangular plate on an elastic base with distribution properties. Practical analogues of this design are slab foundations widely used in construction.
