Investigation on transient dynamic balancing of the power turbine rotor and its application
In the dynamic balancing procedure of the rotor system, the unbalance is determined as a principal parameter which should be identified firstly. In actual engineering, the interference of external noise on the rotor is usually the main factor influencing

Compact Monolithic 3D-Printed Wideband Filters Using Pole-Generating Resonant Irises
The design concept of a pole-generating resonant iris is demonstrated in rectangular waveguide filters in this paper. Different from conventional reactive iris, the resonant iris can generate an extra transmission pole without increasing the number of ...

Chained-Function Filter Synthesis Based on the Modified Jacobi Polynomials [PDF]
A new class of filter functions with pass-band ripple which derives its origin from a method of determining the chained function lowpass filters described by Guglielmi and Connor is introduced.

Coefficients Calculation in Pascal Approximation for Passive Filter Design
The recently modified Pascal function is further exploited in this paper in the design of passive analog filters. The Pascal approximation has non-equiripple magnitude, in contrast of the most well-known approximations, such as the Chebyshev ...

This study investigates how gaze mode and stimulus brightness affect augmented reality‐based steady‐state visual evoked potentials (AR‐SSVEP) brain‐computer interface (BCI) performance. Experiments with 20 participants show that binocular gaze improves recognition accuracy and stimulus luminance impacts performance.

Strain analysis of black‐to‐yellow phase transitions in CsPbI3
All‐inorganic metal‐halide perovskite CsPbI3 shows strong potential for photovoltaic applications. Here strain analysis is used to probe the mechanisms behind the instability of its photoactive black phase. The results indicate that a relatively large positive (e1–e2) strain is the primary driver of the black‐to‐yellow phase transition.
