Mineral element content of greater celandine ( Chelidonium majus L.)
Acta Alimentaria, 2005Chelidonii herba has long been known in herbal medicine for its choleretic, cholagogue, spasmolytic and antiviral activities. It is important to monitor the amount of mineral elements in Chelidonii herba preparations consumed mainly for their phytotherapeutical effects.

Chelidonium majus L. does not potentiate the hepatic effect of acetaminophen
Experimental and Toxicologic Pathology, 2013The present study assessed the ability of Chelidonium majus to potentiate the hepatic effect of a sub-toxic dose of acetaminophen, in rats.C. majus, when administered alone, did not alter the liver function parameters in male, whereas an increase in fibrinogen level was found in female rats.

Agro kimyo himoya va o`simliklar karantiniIt has been established that endophytic fungi isolated from Chelidonium majus L. have antagonistic activity against a number of phytopathogens. Rhizopus stolonifer strain FK23 effectively inhibited the growth of Fusarium oxysporum and Alternaria alternata, and Plectosphaerella cucumerina FK14 Verticillium dahliae.

Germination characteristics of greater celandine (CHELIDONIUM MAJUS L.) Seeds
American Journal Of Biomedical Science & Pharmaceutical InnovationThis article presents the results of research conducted on the germination of Greater Celandine (Chelidonium majus L.), one of the valuable medicinal plant species. It was found that under laboratory conditions, seed germination was high (91.4-93%) with an optimal germination temperature of 25-30°C.
