A Combined Electrocoagulation-Electrooxidation Process for Carwash Wastewater Reclamation
Wastewater from a carwash was treated by a combined electrocoagulation and electrooxidation process. Electrocoagulation is effective at reducing organics, but even more so when coupled with electrooxidation.

Data-Based Modelling of Chemical Oxygen Demand for Industrial Wastewater Treatment
The aim of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) is to clean wastewater before it is discharged into the environment. Real-time monitoring and control will become more essential as the regulations for effluent discharges are likely to become stricter in ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
