On some dynamical diagrams of chemical reaction engineering
Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 1999A brief historical survey of some of the influential types of diagrams that have been used in chemical reaction engineering is given. These include the phase plane, the simple autocatalytic diagram, and the stroboscopic phase plane.

Chemical Reaction Engineering for Safety
Chemical Engineering Science, 1988Abstract A major hazard in chemical production is loss of thermal control, which can lead to destruction and release of toxic materials. The paper outlines, how risk assessment can be performed by extending Chemical Engineering Principles to the study of potential runaway reactions.

1997
Chemical Reaction Engineering covers the material required for a basic understanding of chemical reaction engineering. The first chapter introduces the topic. The next chapter considers the materials balance for chemical reactions. The chapter after that examines the calculation of reactor volume and residence time.

The environment and chemical reaction engineering
Chemical Engineering Science, 1990Abstract Chemical reaction engineering is central to virtually all aspects of environmental protection. We focus here on three problems in atmospheric chemistry - stratospheric ozone depletion, global climate change, and control of zone levels by the use of alternate fuels in motor vehicles that involve significant elements of chemical reaction ...
