On the stability of stochastic chemical system
Journal of the Franklin Institute, 1978Abstract The stability of stochastic chemical system is considered. The definitions of almost sure stability and mean square stability and the corresponding stability theorems are presented and discussed. Examples concerning the stability of a two tank water heating system and a well-stirred reactor tank with random flows are studied in detail.

STABILITY CRITERIA FOR CHEMICAL REACTORS
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1992Abstract Stability criteria are presented for six most common types of chemical reactors: a batch reactor, a continuous flow stirred tank reactor, a tubular flow reactor, a fluidized bed reactor, a tubular catalytic reactor and a tubular autothermal reactor with internal or external heat exchange. The criteria may be used to determine the boundary of

Frequency stability and stabilization of a chemical laser
IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1978We have built a low-power CW HF/DF chemical laser, designed to achieve high-frequency stability. Measurements are reported which characterize the instantaneous spectral width of the laser output to less than one part in 1011( \Delta\nu kHz) and the variations in absolute frequency of this emission with time to four parts in 1010( \Delta\nu = \pm20 kHz)

Stability of drug is the capacity of the pharmaceutical dosage form to maintain the chemical, physical, microbial and therapeutic properties during the time of storage and usage by the patient. Stability studies are done to determine the expiry date of products and to choose formulations and container closure techniques that are appropriate in terms of

Stability Phenomena in Chemical Reactors
Berichte der Bunsengesellschaft für physikalische Chemie, 1980AbstractSome important types of non‐linear phenomena occuring in chemically reacting systems are explained by means of some single examples of chemical reactors. Multiple steady‐states exhibiting a distinct behavior of ignition and extinction are in the category of these phenomena.

Chemical Stabilization of Laser Dyes.
1984Abstract : Irradiation of ethanol solutions of coumarin laser dye lasers produces products which absorb at the lasing wavelength. This results in attenuation of dye laser output through interference of stimulated emission. A major photoprocess which produces material which absorbs at the lasing wavelength is dye sensitized solvent oxidative ...

Most drugs are subject to some form of chemical decomposition, particularly when formulated as liquid dosage forms. Some of the consequences of degradation are that the aged medicinal preparation no longer has the desired pharmacological potency. It may also exhibit physical manifestations of decomposition such as the discolouration that often follows ...

Chemical Sensitization and Stabilization
1995Abstract In order to achieve latent image formation in photographic emulsions with high efficiency and stability, many attempts are made to modify the silver halide grains in emulsions. While these attempts include chemical sensitization, hypersensitization, and latensification, chemical sensitizations are most effective and are widely ...
