Reputational Risk: An Investigation Into How Environmental Failures Drive Stock Price Crashes
ABSTRACT The study examines the relationship between stock price crashes and firm environment reputational risk. Using a large sample of US listed firms, covering a time span from 2007 to 2021, we test the effect of environmental reputation risk on three measures for the stock price crash risk (NEGCSK, DRUV, and CRASH).

Does Climate Risk Affect Employment Decisions? International Evidence
ABSTRACT This study investigates the effect of climate risk on corporate employment decisions. Using a large sample from 41 countries, we find a positive association between climate risk and underinvestment in labor, notably manifesting as excessive employee layoffs.

A Methodology to Integrate Closed‐Cycle Heat Pumps into Batch Distillation Columns
Batch distillation often cannot use vapor recompression due to contamination risks in food and pharma. This study proposes a design for integrating closed‐loop heat pumps using natural fluids. Results show significant energy savings, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional setups.
