Chemiluminescence detection of gangliosides by thin-layer chromatography.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1995
We describe a method for the detection of gangliosides on thin-layer chromatography plates using enhanced chemiluminescence. In contrast to previously published colorimetric techniques, the use of chemiluminescence of detect antibody binding to ...

THE INCREASED KINETICS OF H2O2-INDUCED CHEMILUMINESCENCE IN THE PATIENTS WITH LONG-TERM CONSEQUENCES AFTER CEREBRAL CONTUSION

open access: yesСучасні медичні технології, 2019
Purpose of the study. The aim was to study in the patients with long-term consequences after cerebral contusion the intensity of spontaneous and H2O2-induced chemiluminescence in order to evaluate the early fast-flowing reactions caused by oxidative ...

Development and Application of Novel Chemiluminescence Immunoassays for Highly Sensitive Detection of Anisakis simplex Proteins in Thermally Processed Seafood

open access: yesPathogens, 2020
The third-stage larvae (L3) of Anisakis simplex are the most important source of hidden allergens in seafood products. However, there exist no commercial methods for detecting Anisakis proteins in food. Furthermore, only a few methods have been validated

Chemiluminescent wood

open access: yesCarbohydrate Polymers
Wood materials incorporating new properties are of great interest, especially for advanced applications such as sustainable optics and photonics. In this work we describe a wood functionalization approach, comprising the incorporation of artificial chemiluminescent systems (phenyl oxalate ester‑hydrogen peroxide-fluorophore, and luminol-ferricyanide ...

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Experimental Investigation on Self-Excited Thermoacoustic Instability in a Rijke Tube

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The experimental investigations into the thermoacoustic instability in a Rijke tube are presented. In order to capture the dynamics of the temperature, a single-ended tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) technique was developed, with a ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Development of Bionanocomposites Based on PLA, Collagen, and AgNPs and Characterization of Their Stability and In Vitro Biocompatibility

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Bionanocomposites including poly(lactic acid) (PLA), collagen, and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were prepared as biocompatible and stable films. Thermal properties of the PLA-based bionanocomposites indicated an increase in the crystallinity of PLA ...

High-Contrast Visualization Chemiluminescence Based on AIE-Active and Base-Sensitive Emitters

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
Peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence (PO-CL) is one of the most popular cold light sources, yet the drawback of aggregation-caused quenching limits their use.
