Influence of stacked structure of carbons modified on its surface on n-pentane adsorption
In this study, the microstructure of a series of activated carbons modified on its chemistry surface was evaluated from X-ray diffraction and porous structure analysis, and the effect of the stacked graphitic structure on the n-pentane adsorption ...

Insights into the Carbon chemistry of Mon R2
Aiming to learn about the chemistry of the dense PDR around the ultracompact (UC) HII region in Mon R2, we have observed a series of mm-wavelength transitions of C3H2 and C2H. In addition, we have traced the distribution of other molecules, such as H13CO+

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Tracing the Physical Conditions in Active Galactic Nuclei with Time-Dependent Chemistry
We present an extension of the code ProDiMo that allows for a modeling of processes pertinent to active galactic nuclei and to an ambient chemistry that is time dependent. We present a proof-of-concept and focus on a few astrophysically relevant species,

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

Oxygen vacancy enhanced photocatalytic activity of Cu2O/TiO2 heterojunction
Summary: In this study, a method was developed to create oxygen vacancies in Cu2O/TiO2 heterojunctions. By varying the amounts of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), sodium citrate, and copper acetate, Cu2O/TiO2 with different Cu ratios were ...
