A New Double‐Algorithmic Architecture for Wavelet‐Domain Multiway Separation of Overlapping UV Spectra and Co‐Quantification of Analytes

open access: yesJournal of Chemometrics, Volume 40, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT In this study, a new double‐algorithmic chemometric architecture employing continuous wavelet transform (CWT) and parallel factor analysis (PARAFAC) was developed for wavelet‐domain separation of overlapping UV spectra and co‐quantification of analytes in laboratory‐prepared binary mixtures and a commercial tablet formulation.

Differential Pulse Voltammetric Analysis of the New Psychoactive Drug 3β‐(4‐Fluorobenzoyloxy)tropane (fluorotropacocaine)

open access: yesElectroanalysis, Volume 38, Issue 5, May 2026.
First voltammetric characterization of fluorotropacocaine and development of a selective DPV method for real‐sample analysis. A Design of Experiments (DoE)‐optimized Florisil‐SPE cleanup enables up to 50× enrichment and sensitive detection in urine, with high selectivity against excipients, endogenous components, and co‐occurring new psychoactive ...

Exploring portable NIR spectroscopy in transmittance and reflectance modes for the authentication of Brazilian coffees with geographical indications

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 7, Page 4038-4048, May 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND Geographical indications (GIs) certify the link between coffee origin and quality, enabling premium pricing and protecting producers. However, the high market value of GI coffees increases their vulnerability to fraud, underscoring the need for reliable and practical authentication methods.

Organ‐Specific Phytochemical Composition and Bioactivity Profiling of Chaerophyllum aksekiense: A Multiassay Antioxidant, Enzyme Inhibition, and Correlation‐Based Evaluation

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study reveals the organ‐specific phytochemical specialization of the endemic Chaerophyllum aksekiense for the first time. Although leaves exhibit the highest phenolic content and antioxidant capacity, flowers stand out with flavonoid accumulation, and roots demonstrate potent enzyme inhibition.
