Medical cannabis for treatment-resistant combat PTSD
Targeting the endocannabinoid system may have a role in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, few studies have examined the effectiveness of cannabis on symptoms of PTSD, and more research is needed to ascertain cannabis ...

Chen-Ruan cohomology of M_{1,n} and \bar{M}_{1,n}
In this work we compute the Chen--Ruan cohomology and the stringy Chow ring of the moduli spaces of smooth and stable $n$-pointed curves of genus 1. We suggest a definition for an Orbifold Tautological Ring in genus 1, which is both a subring of the Chen-

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

On Reachable Sets of Hidden CPS Sensor Attacks
For given system dynamics, observer structure, and observer-based fault/attack detection procedure, we provide mathematical tools -- in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) -- for computing outer ellipsoidal bounds on the set of estimation errors ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

On the Approximation of Toeplitz Operators for Nonparametric $\mathcal{H}_\infty$-norm Estimation
Given a stable SISO LTI system $G$, we investigate the problem of estimating the $\mathcal{H}_\infty$-norm of $G$, denoted $||G||_\infty$, when $G$ is only accessible via noisy observations. Wahlberg et al.
