ABSTRACT Diagnosing high‐impedance ground faults (HIGFs) in distribution networks is extremely challenging because high transition resistance significantly reduces electrical signal strength and unpredictable initial fault phase angles coupled with asymmetric voltage disturbances often lead to misclassification.

COLOR IMAGE COMPRESSION AND ENCRYPTION BASED ON COMPRESSIVE SENSING
In this paper; a simple and powerful technique is proposed to encrypt and compress the color image in one step based on Compressive Sensing (CS) with using multi-chaotic system (Chen and Chua) as measurement matrix.

Thriving or Drained? The Dual Effects of AI‐autonomy on Workers’ Performance Outcomes
Abstract Interest in the role of artificial intelligence (AI) within organizations has surged in recent years. However, we know little about the underlying mechanisms that connect AI usage in organizations to employee job outcomes. Drawing on self‐determination theory and self‐categorization theory, this study explores when and how perceived AI ...

PARTY‐STATE URBANISM: Coevolution of Local State Capacity and Strategic Alliances in Shenzhen
Abstract What is distinct about Chinese urban governance? Classic theories predict that when the central state retreats from resource allocation, capacity‐strained local governments must form alliances with non‐state actors, thereby diluting state power. In China, however, state power remains dominant despite decentralization.

A New Method for Synchronization and Control of the Chen Chaotic System
chaotic behavior of dynamical systems can be utilized in many applications such as secure communication systems, heart arrhythmias, and chemical reactors. In this regard, they are required to be regulated and synchronized with desired references and obtain specific functionality.

Abstract Ecoacoustics mainly aims at monitoring soundscapes by means of non‐invasive protocols. Despite the widespread adoption of machine and deep learning techniques, existing ecoacoustic models predominantly rely on supervised learning and, consequently, face two primary limitations: (1) the necessity of annotated data; and (2) the restriction to ...

FPGA based implementation of a perturbed Chen oscillator for secure embedded cryptosystems
This paper introduces an enhancement to the Chen chaotic system by incorporating a constant perturbation term $$d$$ d to one of the state variables, aiming to improve the performance of pseudo-random number generators (PRNGs).

SAMPLED-DATA FEEDBACK CONTROL FOR CHEN'S CHAOTIC SYSTEM
We present a theory for control of Chen's chaotic system using sampled-data feedback control technology. First, the output of Chen's chaotic system is sampled at a given sampling rate. Then the sampled data are used to construct a discrete-time feedback control algorithm for controlling Chen's chaotic system to the origin.

Do universal owners behave like universal owners? The emergence of a financial sector norm
Abstract The past few years have seen a surge in scholarship on universal ownership, systematic stewardship, and system‐level investing. These concepts describe the reality that large diversified owners of capital own a more or less representative slice of the market and therefore must concern themselves with systemic risks to the financial system as a
