Homomorphisms of multiplicative groups of fields preserving algebraic dependence [PDF]
We study homomorphisms of multiplicative groups of fields preserving algebraic dependence and show that such homomorphisms give rise to valuations.

Let $n\in \Bbb N,$ and let $A,B$ be two rings. An additive map $h: A\to B$ is called n-Jordan homomorphism if $h(a^n)=(h(a))^n$ for all $a \in {A}$. Every Jordan homomorphism is an n-Jordan homomorphism, for all $n\geq 2,$ but the converse is false, in general. In this paper we investigate the n-Jordan homomorphisms on Banach algebras.

The Complexity of Homomorphism Factorization [PDF]
We investigate the computational complexity of the problem of deciding if an algebra homomorphism can be factored through an intermediate algebra. Specifically, we fix an algebraic language, L, and take as input an algebra homomorphism f between two finite L-algebras X and Z, along with an intermediate finite L-algebra Y.

Graph Relations and Constrained Homomorphism Partial Orders [PDF]
We consider constrained variants of graph homomorphisms such as embeddings, monomorphisms, full homomorphisms, surjective homomorpshims, and locally constrained homomorphisms. We also introduce a new variation on this theme which derives from relations between graphs and is related to multihomomorphisms.
