Exciton Diffusion in Two‐dimentional Chiral Perovskites
Transport of light‐emitting excitons is demonstrated in 2D chiral perovskites via transient optical microscopy. The excitons are found to diffuse rapidly after the excitation followed by localization at longer time‐scales. Temperature‐dependent exciton propagation combined with photothermal deflection spectroscopy measurements reveal the role of ...

Dynamical Stability and Quantum Chaos of Ions in a Linear Trap
The realization of a paradigm chaotic system, namely the harmonically driven oscillator, in the quantum domain using cold trapped ions driven by lasers is theoretically investigated.

Groups with all Subgroups Subnormal or Nilpotent-by-Chernikov
An important result by \textit{W. Möhres} [Arch. Math. 54, No. 3, 232-235 (1990; Zbl 0663.20027)] shows that any group in which all subgroups are subnormal is soluble. Using this theorem, \textit{H. Smith} [Topics in infinite groups. Rome: Aracne. Quad. Mat.

The Yenisei Makes the Weather: The Microclimate of the Krasnoyarsk Dam and Its Research, 1960s–1990s
Abstract When Soviet authorities began building the Krasnoyarsk Dam in 1956, the Yenisei River had an ice‐free period of only 112 days a year. The thick and long‐lasting ice impeded dam building and navigation. However, as the dam rose, it produced an environmental anomaly; for more than 200 kilometers downstream, the Yenisei became ice‐free year‐round.

Magneto‐Spectroscopy of Interlayer Excitons in Transition‐Metal Dichalcogenide Heterostructures
Combining two different transition‐metal dichalcogenide monolayers can lead to a type‐II band alignment and formation of interlayer excitons (ILE). In diselenide heterobilayers, bright ILE are observable if the interlayer twist angle is close to 0° or 60°.

Optical investigation of the metal-insulator transition in $FeSb_2$
We present a comprehensive optical study of the narrow gap $FeSb_2$ semiconductor. From the optical reflectivity, measured from the far infrared up to the ultraviolet spectral range, we extract the complete absorption spectrum, represented by the real ...

On Chernikov-by-nilpotent groups
Let $γ_k=[x_1,\dots,x_k]$ be the $k$-th lower central group-word. Given a group $G$, we write $X_k(G)$ for the set of $γ_k$-values and $γ_k(G)$ for the $k$-th term of the lower central of $G$. This paper deals with groups in which $\langle g^{X_k(G)} \rangle$ is a Chernikov group of size at most $(m,n)$ for all $g\in G$. The main result is that $γ_{k+1}

The Takagi–Taupin equations are solved in their simplest form (zero deformation) and equations of the diffracted and transmitted amplitudes are obtained using a matrix model. The theory presented is coded in the open‐source software package crystalpy.The Takagi–Taupin equations are solved in their simplest form (zero deformation) to obtain the Bragg ...

Cosmological Production of Vector Bosons and Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation
The intensive cosmological creation of vector W, Z- bosons in the cosmological model with the relative units is considered. Field theoretical models are studied, which predict that the CMB radiation and the baryon matter in the universe can be products ...

On certain groups with Chernikov group of automorphisms
We obtained automorphic analogue of Schur’s theorem for the case when an arbitrary subgroup A of automorphism group Aut(G) of a group G and the factor-group of a group G modulo A-center are Chernikov groups.
