ABSTRACT Objective In advanced non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), immune‐checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) can achieve significant clinical responses. This raises the question of whether to consider salvage surgery as a curative treatment option. Few case series reported encouraging results in terms of pathological response.

Diaphragmatic resection may be necessary in left‐sided RPS cases.
