Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Tracking fluctuating targets in extremely heterogeneous clutter using amplitude information

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
This study analyses the radar fluctuating target detection in G(0)-distributed clutter using dynamic programming – track before detect (DP-TBD) algorithm. G(0)-distributed clutter is often used to fit the complex circumstances. The authors use chi-square

Predicting and Comparing the Subjective Health Experience of Older Cancer Survivors and Non‐Cancer Survivors: A Modeling Approach

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This study underscores the significant influence of frailty and vitality on the subjective health experience of older cancer survivors with acceptance and control emerging as salient mediators. These findings affirm the conceptual and empirical robustness of the model highlighting its potential utility in shaping future interventions for older cancer ...

Simulating chi-square data through algorithms in the presence of uncertainty

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
This paper presents a novel methodology aimed at generating chi-square variates within the framework of neutrosophic statistics. It introduces algorithms designed for the generation of neutrosophic random chi-square variates and illustrates the ...

Lesion Location and Functional Connections Reveal Cognitive Impairment Networks in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive impairment, fatigue, and depression are common in multiple sclerosis (MS), potentially due to disruption of regional functional connectivity caused by white matter (WM) lesions. We explored whether WM lesions functionally connected to specific brain regions contribute to these MS‐related manifestations.

Exact Computation of Pearson Statistics Distribution and Some Experimental Results

open access: yesAustrian Journal of Statistics, 2016
A Markov chain based algorithms for exact and approximate computation of Pearson statistics distribution for multinomial scheme are described. Results of computational experiments reveal some new properties of the difference between this distribution and

Systemic T Cell Receptor Profiling Reveals Adaptive Immune Activation and Potential Immune Signatures of Diagnosis and Brain Atrophy in Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Epilepsy is increasingly associated with immune dysregulation and inflammation. The T cell receptor (TCR), a key mediator of adaptive immunity, shows repertoire alterations in various immune‐mediated diseases. The unique TCR sequence serves as a molecular barcode for T cells, and clonal expansion accompanied by reduced overall TCR ...
