Computation of the Chi-Square and Poisson Distribution
SIAM Journal on Scientific and Statistical Computing, 1986This paper is concerned with the computation of the tails of the chi- squared and Poisson distributions by recursive methods involving three base functions related to gamma-type integrals. The methods are applicable to most parameter values and their efficiency is demonstrated by a careful error analysis.
