Crystalline fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase from chicken breast muscle
Abstract Fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase has been isolated and crystallized in high yield from chicken breast muscle, which is a rich source of this enzyme. The specific activity assayed at pH 7.4 and 25 °C in the presence of 0.2 m m MnCl 2 0.1 m m EDTA, and 40 m m ammonium sulfate is 50–60 units/mg, making this one of the most active fructose ...

Fluorescent BODIPY‐conjugated thiosemicarbazone ligands and their Ga(III), In(III), and Fe(III) complexes, inspired by Triapine, are developed as theranostic agents. Multiphoton FLIM and confocal microscopy in cancer cells and zebrafish reveal real‐time uptake, mitochondrial localisation, and whilst spectroscopic assays indicated preserved complex ...

The Purification and Properties of Phosphoglycerate Mutase from Chicken Breast Muscle
A very rapid procedure for the preparation of phosphoglycerate mutase from chicken breast muscle is presented. Commercially available frozen chicken breasts may be used. The enzyme is obtained in high yields, and the specific activity of the crystalline homogenous preparations is equal to that of the crystalline enzymes from yeast and rabbit muscle ...

The hyperactivation of PI3K/AKT signaling in PTEN wild‐type triple‐negative breast cancer represents a clinical paradox. We delineate a novel post‐translational regulatory axis wherein the oncogene TSPYL5 competitively antagonizes the deubiquitinase USP10.

Effect of Feeding Conditions on the Methylation Status of Fatp1 Gene in Chicken Breast Muscle
The objective of this work was to investigate the effect of feeding conditions on methylation status of FATP1 gene, which is an important candidate gene of Intramuscular fat and important indicator of chicken meat quality.

FGF13 is upregulated in DRG neurons of PIPNP model mice. DRG neuron‐specific knockout of FGF13 ameliorates PIPNP symptoms. Mechanistically, FGF13 potentiates microtubule detyrosination by promoting VASH1 binding to microtubules. FGF13 knockout suppresses VASH1‐mediated microtubule detyrosination and promotes α‐tubulin tyrosination.

This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.

Targeting Supramolecular Active Complexes of Nav1.7/Nav1.8 to Relieve Chronic Neuropathic Pain
In mice and patients with severe chronic neuropathic pain (NP), Nav1.7, Nav1.8, TrkB, and five cytoskeletal proteins form supramolecular active complexes (SMACs) with polygonal lattice structures as noxious signal amplifiers in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons.
