This paper reviews the phenomenon of childfree in Indonesia in a review of Islamic law. The method used in this research is field research and literature review. Study data were analyzed with the perspective of Islamic law. Survey data shows that 98.8% of people prefer to have children rather than being childfree (1.3%).
